A Complete Soccer Experience
The SSM Soccer Academy is for highly competitive to elite-level soccer players. Boys and girls train and compete on a daily basis during the school year (September through May). Players receive technical, tactical and physical training from a staff of professional coaches with both national and international experience. A competition program that integrates tournament play, friendly games and exhibitions throughout the nine-to-ten months is provided.
A Core Academic Program
SSM is a college-prep boarding and day school, providing young men and women a solid academic foundation upon which to build. Our small classes and rigorous curriculum prepare students for college and help them achieve their educational goals.
Facilities
Perfect training conditions—guaranteed! The team trains indoors in the Dane Family Field House on a state-of-the-art, 115 x 70 playing surface during winter months. The Field House is one of just a few full-sized indoor soccer fields in the upper Midwest. Three outdoor fields are available, including a new 115 x 70 synthetic field. A fully-equipped strength and conditioning facility is also available.
Directing the Program
Tim Carter, whose experience in player development in the United States is highly recognized, directs the program. He has coached at youth, collegiate and professional levels. As a former Director of Youth Development for U.S. Soccer, he was responsible for developing programs for U.S. Soccer’s Project 2010. Coach Carter has more than 17 years of college coaching experience, including 12 years at the Division I level.
