SUMMER CAMPUS MANAGER
PURPOSE:
The Campus Manager is primarily responsible for addressing the needs of summer camp directors and assisting summer nursing staff with camp paperwork.
Tasks include assigning room blocks; procuring keys, linens and boarding plan wrist bands; arranging for camp registration space, emptying outside trash containers, scheduling cleaning crews for dorms; inspecting dorm rooms, facilitating transportation; and working with camp directors to handle issues that arise. Campus Manager will also organize listings of campers’ medical issues for distribution to camp staff at the beginning of each week.
REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires immediate responses to tasks, strong organizational skills and, occasionally, an assertive personality to redirect camper behavior. Medical training would be beneficial but not necessary for processing camper medical forms.
The position requires a strong on-campus presence.
HOURS OF WORK:
Employee must be readily available – living on or very close to campus is required. Campus room and board is provided. Room and board is provided.
Position runs June 7 – August 18, 2012. Off July 1 – July 7, 2012.
