Health and Wellness at SSM

The Health and Wellness program at Shattuck-St. Mary’s School has been developed to be a comprehensive curriculum that meets the unique needs of the students in our setting. Sixth through eighth grade students receive instruction during their community time, every other week. Ninth through twelvth graders receive specialized, grade level instruction once a month during a one hour block that is built into their daily schedule. Instruction is delivered by qualified faculty members and quest speakers that include, the school psychologist, school nurses, and consulting physician. The curriculum is augmented by additional activities such as an annual Health Fair and Health/Wellness FAD programming.

If you have any questions about the school’s health and wellness programming, please contact, Jody Koch at jody.koch@s-sm.org.
