On Monday September 10, the BSP students attended the Transform Conference sponsored by the Center for Innovation at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  The students listened to energetic and meaningful presentations given by medical professionals who are working toward making the fundamental changes needed in the American healthcare system.  Follow the link to learn more about the Mayo Clinic’s Center for Innovation and what the students experienced at Mayo Transform.

Dr. Brant Barr, MD joined the BSP students on Thursday, September 13 from 4:30 – 5:30, fireside in the Hirst Library.  Dr. Barr shared with students his experiences while attending Shattuck-St. Mary’s School, college, medical school and then his residency.  BSP students were given the opportunity to ask Dr. Barr questions about his “real life” experiences.
