Capital Campaign
Whenever we talk about special projects, that list includes the funding of programs and facilities beyond the day-to-day operation of the school. Buildings, endowment, new programs…all may fall under this category.
Oh, the changes funded under this broad umbrella which have occurred on the beautiful Shattuck-St. Mary’s campus in the last seven years!
-
Approximately $12 million dollars has been spent on the physical plant including a new ice rink, the Dane Family Fieldhouse, the Pam Andreas Student Center, new Shumway classrooms, a new accessible entrance to the Morgan, Shumway, Dobbin complex , the renovation of Newhall Auditorium and a new elevator for Shumway.
-
Our endowment has been increased from around $8 million to $15 million (even after the challenges of the recent past).
-
Kramer House, formerly East Arch House, was renovated to provide a new home for the Health Services.
-
Andreas House, formerly the Old Rectory, was refurbished to become a dormitory for senior girls.
-
Construction of Fayfield Hall, our new STEM (Science, technology, Engineering and Math) will be complete by January of 2011.
Of course, we are not done yet. A school as vibrant and committed to excellence as Shattuck-St. Mary’s will always need support to provide the best education possible for our students!
Thank you for your support: past, present and future!
