Key aspects of the program include:

Nationally Recognized Coach
Diana Ronayne, former Resident Coach at Colorado Springs World Arena, has years of coaching experience and a belief in the model of combining academic and athletic excellence.

Facilities
In addition to two ice arenas, on-site locker rooms and a Pro-Motion harness, skaters have access to an extensive indoor weight training facility and dance studio, along with expert guidance to fully utilize SSM’s dance and conditioning programs.

All in One Place
SSM’s intensive figure skating and college preparatory programs are on one campus. Our twin-rink sports complex, with two sheets of ice, allows for daily training just a short walk from the Upper School dorms and academic buildings.

A Unique Approach
SSM’s innovative program of combining excellence in academics and intensive figure skating training is a pioneering concept that offers student-athletes a new approach that doesn’t sacrifice college preparation or figure skating dreams.
