FARIBAULT, MINN. - On Saturday, Dec. 12th, five former Shattuck-St. Mary’s boys hockey players were announced to the 2021 U.S. National Junior Team that will compete in the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Edmonton, Alberta. 

FARIBAULT, MINN. - On Saturday, Dec. 12th, five former Shattuck-St. Mary’s boys hockey players were announced to the 2021 U.S. National Junior Team that will compete in the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Edmonton, Alberta. 

Brendan Brisson ‘19John FarinacciDrew HellesonJackson LaCombe ‘19, and Cam York join 20 other young men as Team USA looks to capture the gold medal and their fifth medal in six years. 

“Along with every hockey fan, we can’t wait to watch the 2021 World Junior Tournament,” stated Director of Boys Hockey, Ben Umhoefer. “We are excited to have five familiar faces on Team USA and are confident they will do an outstanding job representing their team and country.”

Team USA will face Switzerland and Finland in two exhibition games beginning Sunday, Dec. 20 and then take on Russia in their first preliminary game on Friday, Dec. 25. For the full tournament schedule and roster, click here.
