Shattuck St. Mary’s, an independent college preparatory boarding/day school located in Faribault, Minnesota, is seeking applicants for a Head Coach position within its Boys Soccer Program. Shattuck-St. Mary’s Boys Soccer is a well-established, high performance soccer development program for players in grades 7-12 and a founding member of the MLS NEXT development platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A USSF “B” coaching license is required, as a minimum
- Past playing background at a collegiate or professional level is required
- Coaching experience within a high-performance environment
- Coach must want to excel at scouting and recruiting, which includes extensive travel
- Personal relation skills providing for a positive relationship with student-athletes, peers, faculty and general public is an important requirement of the position
- Effective computer skills required
- Authorized to work in the United States
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to on-field coaching all coaches are assigned other areas of responsibility within the Soccer program. Coaches are also expected to fulfill residential duties and student advisory associated with a boarding school as part of their job responsibilities.
COMPENSATION:
The compensation package includes salary, housing, meals, and benefits. Salary will be based on experience and range from $40,000 to $48,000.
