The Shattuck-St. Mary’s Engineering Lab hosts a wide variety of projects that highlight student creativity, innovation, and problem-solving ability on a daily basis.

Current students in the program are working on a wide variety of projects such as: designing a prosthetic hand for a local girl who was born with one hand, developing a “smart” soccer ball filled with electronic sensors, developing an interactive globe to project news-feeds to our international students, designing projects for Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., studying and developing an autonomous vehicle that uses sensors to drive in its surroundings, and much more.
