Head of School Welcomes School to New Phase of Distance-Learning

March 13, 2020

Our School leader writes about the transition to distance-learning and how we’ll maintain a sense of normalcy throughout this time.

Greetings from Faribault!

We would like to extend a thank you to everyone for their support and patience as we continue to navigate these challenging times. Today was a day filled with emotions—from the excitement of our Honors students presenting their poster sessions, to the tears of goodbyes to classmates and teachers. There were students in senior jerseys, and hugs, fist bumps, and elbow-knocks (our new official handshake) all around.

One thing you can count on during this transition is our efforts to maintain a sense of normalcy—and that includes continuing with our Whipple Weekly. We look forward to sharing with you what’s going on both on campus and around the world while our students are distance learning, and we look forward to the opportunity to reunite on May 1st.

More next week!
