Finals Frosty Frolic

November 18, 2014

‘Twas the night before finals week…

‘Twas the night before finals week, and all through the campus
Not a creature was stirring, not even Rev Cav’s kids

The study guides were printed and highlighted with care
Out of fear for the grades that soon would be there.

The students were buried under piles of books
Fighting to stay off Netflix, not even just a look!

And Andreas House in their sweatpants, and I in my blanket
Had studied so hard, our brains were finally breaking,

When outside the dorm there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my desk to see what was the matter!

Away to the sidewalk, I flew like a plane
Fascinated by these warriors, and their stress-killing game.

The sauce of the puck on the new fallen snow,
Outweighed the hazards of the cold wind’s blow.

Rather than cuddling up, fearing the icy blasts
These players would rather use the ice to pass!

Perhaps finals week is not void of all joys,
Even the cold can be fun, when you’re with the boys.
