Shattuck-St. Mary’s Honors Capstone Day

April 23, 2015

Shattuck-St. Mary’s Honors Program hosted its Capstone Presentations on April 20th.

For the 11 students involved in the Honors Program this year, Monday’s Capstone Presentations were the culmination of their research, synthesis, anaysis, writing, and presenting of their various topics. As always, there was a wide range of topics that the students explored including comparing cardiovascular systems of athletes based on different training regimens, nuclear electro-magnetic pulses and their potential impact on Faribault, controversial current events and social media, and how judgements are made about intelligence based on personal appearance. Following the formal presentations, an informal poster session, Q & A, and reception was held in weCreate.
