ScholarShift Stories: Students Take On Soundscape Challenge

September 22, 2016

Module brings students to Stone Arch Bridge, challenges students to capture place through audio.

There are many creative and engaging ways to tell a story. Participating SSM students put that idea to the test on Friday, September 16 as they traveled to the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis to take part in a five-hour Soundscape Challenge.

During this module, students were challenged to collect audio from the Bridge area and tell the story of that place through sound. Using that audio, students are now working to build a digital file that will be turned into podcasts that represent the Stone Arch Bridge using Garage Band. Stay tuned for additional Soundscape Challenge coverage in Whipple Weekly!
