SSM Musicians Win in Minneapolis

Mark Prihodko ’16 and Mariya Zabara ’16 were two of the top eight finalists in the YPSCA 2015 Finals
Mark and Mariya made SSM proud at the Young People’s Symphony Concert Association (YPSCA) annual competition, held on Sunday, January 18 at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis.
There were 40 musicians competing in the YPSCA finals including three cellists, pianists, an oboist, and a harpist.
Mark Prihodko won second place overall, earning the Edwin Norberg Prize and Mariya Zabara won the Katie Berg Prize.
