Shattuck-St. Mary’s Middle School concluded its 2016-2017 school year with a series of events on Friday, May 19. During the morning, 8th-grade students presented their thesis projects on a number of thought-provoking topics in weCreate, covering hot-button issues such as voter ID policies, vaccines, the Dakota Pipeline, and more.
Following those presentations, students gathered for a special closing chapel service at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd and an awards ceremony held in Newhall Auditorium. The year concluded with a final lunch at the Middle School, after which students were dismissed.
Congratulations on a great 2016-2017 school year, and we look forward to seeing you all back on campus in August!
