Building Bridges Event Brings Students Together

September 22, 2017

SSM students compete in a variety of morning activities while getting to know their classmates.

Students had a great time getting to know their peers during Shattuck-St. Mary’s annual Building Bridges event on Friday, September 22.

Following a short advisory period, Middle and Upper School students gathered in the Johnson Gymnasium before proceeding to a series of activities and competitions throughout the morning.

The top teams concluded the event in the Gym with an engaging game of “lightning.” Congratulations to the following members of team 28 on their victory: Connor Bates ’19, Darius Bell ’19, Caroline ’21 and Margeaux Cardenas ’21, Alvaro Jacinto ’21, Kent Lee ’19, Jayden Price ’19, Andy Stoneman ’18, Gabrielle Tremblay ’19, Nate Weaver ’18, Mariah Winebrenner ’21, and Runze Zhao ’20.

In addition to being a fun and interactive way to spend a morning on campus, Building Bridges activities are intended to be a way for students to get to know a wider-range of their peers on a more personal level.
