Approximately 625 musicians participate in the Dorian Band Festival. Students are a part of three festival bands: two Festival Massed Bands and the select Festival Symphonic Band. The Symphonic Band consists of the 70-80 students who audition for chair placement upon their arrival for the Festival. Two student soloists are selected to perform at the festival concert.

Shattuck St. Mary’s Jessica Karrmann was nominated and selected to play flute in the Dorian Band Festival.
