BioScience Students Attend U of MN Conference

April 18, 2018

A fascinating day filled with talks about neuroengineering and human factors engineering

On Wednesday, the freshmen and sophomore BioScience students travelled to the University of Minnesota to attend the 17th Annual Design of Medical Devices Conference, the world’s largest medical device conference. Students were able to watch several live surgeries, including removal of a lung tumor and repair of an aortic aneurysm. They also heard talks about neuroengineering, heart valve replacement, and human factors engineering. A tour of the University of Minnesota Nano Center capped off a great day!
