Sean Hickey ‘22 Wins Division at Nashville Spring Junior Open

DICKSON, TENN. - This past weekend, the Shattuck-St. Mary’s Golf Center of Excellence (COE) traveled to the Nashville area to compete in the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) Nashville Spring Junior Open at Greystone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn.

Sean Hickey ‘22 brought home the hardware for SSM, winning the Boys 16-18 division with rounds of 73-71, an even-par total of 144. This was Hickey’s first tournament victory in his time with the program.

“It was great to see Sean’s hard work over the years in our program culminate with this victory,” said SSM Golf COE Director, Tim DeSormeau. “We are so proud of this accomplishment as Sean really began his golf career when he joined the Golf COE. His victory really shows that what we are doing within our program really works.”

The Sabres will complete their spring season on May 8th and 9th at the HJGT Eagle Creek Junior Open in Orlando, Fla.
