16 SSM Student-Athletes Sign NLIs on National Signing Day

FARIBAULT, MINN.- On Wednesday, Nov. 13, 16 Shattuck-St. Mary’s senior student-athletes formally announced their commitment to play their respective sports at the collegiate level by signing their NCAA National Letters of Intent to play at Division I or II institutions.


In a ceremony taking place in Newhall Auditorium, members of the senior class officially announced their collegiate decisions and signed their names on the dotted line as members of the SSM community looked on.

“We are so proud of these student-athletes who have made their commitment to play their respective sport in college,” stated SSM Athletic Director, Michele Cornish. “They have made sacrifices and put in a tremendous amount of work day-in and day-out to reach this goal and we are so excited to celebrate their accomplishment today.”

The Sabre athletes committed to 15 different institutions recognized in the NLI Signing Day program.
