21 Sabres Sign NLIs on National Signing Day

On Wednesday, Nov. 9, 21 Shattuck- St. Mary’s student-athletes made their commitment to play their respective sports at the next level as they signed their NCAA National Letters of Intent to play at Division I or II institutions.
In a special ceremony taking place in Newhall Auditorium, members of the senior class signed their name on the dotted line as coaches, teammates, parents, and friends looked on.
“What a great day for Shattuck-St. Mary’s,” stated SSM athletic director, Michele Cornish. “These athletes have done all the work, stayed focused, sacrificed much, and have now reached their goal of joining a collegiate team. We are so proud of you and send congratulations to all.”
The Sabre athletes committed to 19 different institutions recognized in the NLI Signing Day program, with the 9th being the first day student-athletes can officially commit in writing to their 2023 schools through signing an NLI.
