Kate Bittenbender ’25 continues her success in moutain biking racing.

Kate Bittenbender ’25 recently finished 4th overall in the state of Minnesota after a full season of mountain bike racing with her team Cannon Valley Composite, which competes through the Minnesota High School Cycling League.

Out of all fifty-six racers in her bracket, Kate’s finish in fourth place and only three points away from third is an amazing achievement, especially considering that she started mountain biking only a few years ago. She is a major asset to her mountain biking program, of which the middle school team finished 7th overall and the high school team took 6th.

Additionally, Kate’s coach and owner of local bike shop Mill Town Cycles, Todd Trembley was named Coach of the Year, after submissions from team members, parents, and other coaches. Todd also volunteered many hours of work towards the new SSM hiking and biking trails.

Read more about Kate’s success in mountain biking and other students’ achievements on the mountain biking trails on our website. And, stay tuned for the official announcement of the new hiking and biking trails on campus in the forthcoming issue of Through the Arch Magazine!
